Full length "Coffins" out 9/23
New full length album "Coffins" is making its debut September 23rd. Currently, I have started recording at SOS studio. A short Fall tour is in the works.
"The solo outlet of National Beekeepers Society's Nick Whetro. Icarus Himself emphasizes what lurks under NBS's reassuring guitar fuzz. The Madison band's other members often join Whetro during his sets, which often include some NBS songs, but the tracks Whetro's recorded for an upcoming EP prove more haunting. On "Last Lung," "Amputee," and "People's Temple," he accompanies his death 'n' degradation tales with lonely echoes, double-tracked vocals, and the occasional drum machine." Scott Gordon THE ONION
